The board will be using the $4,570 volunteer grant they received from Calare MP Andrew Gee to purchase 10 new iPads.
Mr Gee announced the grant on Friday, May 3 when he visited the centre.
"This grant will enable the centre to purchase 10 iPads for their volunteers to help them communicate more efficiently and continue to assist members of the community," he said.
According to LINC chair person Julie Murnane the volunteer board members are currently using their own equipment for meetings.
"If we need something we have to get it printed out, or it gets lost in the hundreds of private emails we have," she said.
The iPads would be for all the volunteer board members and would be used for board meetings, emails and organisational purposes, Mrs Murnane said.
"At the moment, before we have a board meeting we have to either come in to LINC to pick up the paperwork or someone has to drop it off at our homes," she said.
"But with the iPads we will be able to keep it all in one place and can use those during our meetings."

Mr Gee said that it was wonderful to help LINC continue with the wonderful work they do in the community.
"Funding will bring them into the modern age of technology, making their meetings more efficient and easy to run," he said.
"I believe the money here will be well spent."
Mr Gee said volunteers were vital in our country communities and he was delighted the Federal Government could support the organisation.
