Two of this group figured in the placings during Saturday's stableford round with Byron Wilson taking out first place in C grade with 43 points while Eli Felton was one behind on 42. Best scratch score in C grade was another relatively newcomer in Brandon Lloyd on 90.
Wilson and Felton and their friends have been regulars each week on the fairways and they are sure to figure in the winner lists in the coming weeks.
Another golfer to enjoy a rich vein of form was the B grade winner Bob Hawes on 43 points with Hawes also returning the best scratch score with a tremendous 75, a score that would have bettered the majority of A graders.
He has had a good year capturing a number of wins and placings in major events.
Runner up on 39 points was Josh Newman.
The consistent Brian Judge took out A grade with his 39 points while Max McCann was runner up on 38 points on a countback.
