Lithgow golfers have just finished one of the major events on the calendar with the conclusion of the club championships and are now looking forward to a month of other important events.

Starting on Saturday April 13, a prized event, the Mount Piper Plate will be contested which will take the shape as a stroke event.
On April 19 (Good Friday), a three person ambrose will be played and will go throughout the day.
The Easter Cup will be held on Saturday April 20 with this event another of the top events on the calendar.
Two person Ambrose events has been set down for April 22 and 25 and finishing off a great month of golf there will be the club's monthly medals on April 27th.
Nominations for the 2019 scratch play are being called for and a sheet can be found in the pro shop.
A good field contested a single stableford on Saturday with good scores being registered by the placegetters in each grade.

Best in A grade was John Chadwick on 40 points who continued his good form over the past month.
Runner up Steve Hall on 38 points and scratch winner Andrew Burton 69 also carried on from their success in the club championships.
B grade winner was Greg Jackson with 41 points, one better than runner up Greg Guest on 40 points. Guest also carded the best scratch score with 78 ocb.
Steve Jennings was a clear winner in C grade with a score of 44 points. Runner up and scratch winner was Paul Bailey with 39 points and 90 respectively.
Nearest to the pin winners were Travis Cameron, Ben Futcher, Bob Charlton, Ryan Miller and Don Farnsworth looking resplendent in his Hawaiin St George Illawarra shirt.
Those to figure in the Ball competition were Michael Casey, Andrew Burton, Rob Hawes, Geoff Wheeler, Justin McCann, Ben Futcher, Travis Cameron and Josh Newman. Balls cut out on 36 points neat.
Friday competition
The winner with 30 points was Jeff Geddes.
Ball winners were Steve Sellers, Jason Murray, Jason Dunn and Michael Stanford. Balls cut out on 24 points.
