Lithgow City Council is developing a new Active Transport Plan for the Lithgow Council area, aimed at improving the bicycle and pedestrian network.
To get feedback from the community, the council will be holding a community workshop on Thursday, April 11 from 5pm to 6.30pm at the Mort Street administration building. The project team will also be located in Cook Street Plaza between 12pm and 1.30pm on the day.
Interested groups and individuals are encouraged to attend the workshop to ensure that the plan reflects the needs of the community and helps deliver the new and improved bicycle and pedestrian facilities needed in the area.
People who are unavailable to attend the workshop are also able to have their say by filling out a survey which is available online at the following website www.haveyoursay.lithgow.com. In addition, hardcopies of the survey are available from the Lithgow, Wallerawang and Portland Libraries and from council's administration building.
