Cullen Bullen Public School has had a very busy start to the year with several term 1 highlights, according to principal Melinda Suttor.

"This term has been filled with many exciting extracurricular activities for students," she said.
Some of the highlights students celebrated included the World's Greatest Shave where students raised funds to support families impacted by blood cancer.
"We had three brave students cut their hair and many others had their hair coloured in support of this initiative raising $185," Ms Suttor said.
Students also participated in Clean up Australia Day in which they worked with teachers to clean up the school grounds.

They also took part in the National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence.
"Cullen Bullen Public School is committed to promoting a safe and supportive school climate where all students are accepted," Ms Suttor said.
Lastly students explored concepts of diversity and multiculturalism with Harmony Day.
"Students worked collaboratively to make kites and enjoyed flying their creations in harmony," Ms Suttor said.
She also said overall term 1 had be fantastic and she looked forward to seeing what next term had in store.
