"It was funny getting questioned as to why I was at the hair dressers and I had my customers asking me why Sally was behind the coffee machine," Tanya said.
Overall, the ladies had a fun time swapping jobs, with Sally also trying her hand at retail in the new Sportspower Lithgow store in Main Street.
She wasn't behind the desk a long time, but loved every minute.
The ladies had returned to their original roles by mid-morning where they both felt comfortable.
"We were both flat out especially being a Monday, but it was all a bit of fun and it went really good," Tanya said.

Hey, it's April Fool's Day!
It's also a brand new start to the working week on Monday, and we've already got two well-known businesses ladies pulling pranks on their customers.
Onelia's Place owner Tanya Merrick and Clever Clippers Barber Shop owner Sally Collins swapped places for the morning.
Tanya attempted to dazzle Sally's clients with very little knowledge of hair dressing and Sally whipped up coffees and served with a smile at Onelia's Place as they tried to convince each other's customers.
"It'll be funny, I reckon some won't even notice because we are always in each other's shops," Tanya said.
"It's a bit of fun being April Fool's Day and crazy busy on a Monday, hopefully our customers have a good sense of humor about it," Sally said.

The two ladies have been friends since they were teenagers and said the idea of swapping for the morning had been floating around for awhile.
"We are a bit naughty and love to have a good laugh," Tanya said.
"We've always wanted to do this and it's even funnier because at least I can serve customers at the cafe, but poor Tanya has zero hair dressing experience," Sally laughed.
Tanya and Sally agreed they were usually flat out with their businesses and they were glad to have each other and have a good laugh down the bottom end of Main Street.
"We bounce off each other," Tanya said.
- We'll check in with the ladies later in the day to see how many customers they've managed to convince.
