With 100 years under the belt, this month has been one of great celebration for Club Lithgow.
The milestone has generated a lot of excitement in the community, and among staff and members of the club.
And the festivities will culminate this weekend with some wonderful celebratory events.
"There has been a lot going on all month," club spokesperson Samantha Williams said. "We have had free raffle tickets and drinks, a kids party, trivia based on the local area - it has been a wonderful build up to this weekend."
The party atmosphere will continue this Saturday when there will be free entertainment from 8pm from the West Brothers as well as a special members-only centenary dinner dance beginning at 6.30pm (tickets are $35 and can be purchased at the club).
Then on Sunday, members and guests can head to the club, pull up a chair, enjoy a drink and a meal - and buy some raffle tickets in the Monster Raffle.
With more than $7000 in prizes on offer, your chances of walking away with a great prize are pretty good.
Tickets are on sale now at $5 for three and can be purchased up until the first draw.
And if that isn't enough, don't forget the usual meat raffles will also be held prior to the Monster kicking off. These raffles will begin at 5.30pm and on offer will be 75 meat trays.
Hot on the heels will then be the traveling bowlers raffles at around 6pm where you can hopefully pick up a gift card.
"It will be an afternoon and evening of constant raffles offering some fantastic prizes," Mrs Williams said.
Top trivia
Club Lithgow is always looking to provide more entertainment for members and guests, and a recent addition to the program is trivia nights. Held on Mondays at 6.30pm, Mrs Williams said they are very popular.
"My husband Ben and I come up with the questions and let the players choose a theme for the following week's play, like TV commercials or Aussie cars," she said.
Playing in teams (maximum of eight people) you can win club vouchers, while enjoying some food and you may just learn a thing or two!
