As of 8.45pm, The Nationals Party member had received 53.3 per cent of the first preference votes and 67.2 per cent of the preference count.
The count so far shows a 1.1 per cent swing, with the ABC predicting a three per cent swing to The Nationals.

With more than 20,000 votes counted so far, Country Labor's Beau Riley holds around 21 per cent of the votes.
Trailling behind him is Shooters, Fishers and Farmers candidate Brenden May, who has just under 15 per cent of the vote.
The Greens' David Harvey has 6.3 per cent of the vote, while Michael Begg (Sustainable Australia) and Tim Hansen (Keep Sydney Open) have around two per cent of the vote each.
It appears that the Berejiklian Government will be returned in NSW, but it is unclear whether it will be a minority or majority government.
