For the month of March free microchipping will be held at Lithgow Animal Shelter, off Geordie Street, Lithgow, Mondays to Fridays from 3pm to 4pm. There isPied Piper preschool hosts student speech pathologists a limit of two free microchips per resident.
Puppies and kittens under the age of 6 months must present with a copy of their health passport or immunisation certificates to be eligible for this service.
This month is also a great chance for owners to check their contact information is up to date and talk to staff on responsible pet ownership, including lifetime registration.
