Well, train travellers in Bathurst will have more choice and flexibility when an additional NSW TrainLink train service to and from Sydney starts in 2020.
On weekdays, the new service will depart Bathurst around 7.30am, so those who don’t want to leave in the very early morning still have a direct service to Sydney. The afternoon return service, leaving around 3pm and arriving in Bathurst before 7pm, will be attractive for those who need to be home earlier for family and social commitments.
This additional service will operate seven days a week. On weekends, the new Bathurst to Sydney service will operate at a similar time to the existing weekday service and, in the afternoon, will return at a similar time to the new weekday service.
Savings for young and old
We all know the cost of children’s sport can be overwhelming, so in 2019 a second $100 Active Kids voucher will be available for the period from July 1 to December 31.
From 2020, two $100 Active Kids vouchers will be available from Service NSW for the entire calendar year. The NSW Government will also deliver a new Senior Savers Card for all NSW residents over the age of 60, available from July 1, 2019.
The Senior Savers Card will give seniors in NSW access to the discounts offered at more than 7300 businesses currently participating in the NSW Seniors Card Program.
Combined, these savings offer an excellent opportunity for grandparents and children to connect. We are doing everything we can through our strong financial management to ease cost of living burdens.
