An air quality alert has been issued for the Central Tablelands of NSW as dust clouds move into the area.

Lithgow had a thick haze overhead on Wednesday morning, February 13 and the Office of Environment and Heritage listed the air quality for the region “very poor”.
Sensitive groups, including the very young, the elderly and those who suffer from respiratory problems such as asthma, have been urged to avoid strenuous outdoor activities.
Everyone has been advised to cut back or reschedule strenuous outdoor activities.
