The gold medal play offs were decided in brilliant sunshine with those who had won monthly medals during 2018 battling it out against each other for gold in the various grades.
The three grade winners certainly struck gold in style with some great scoring.
Winner of the A grade gold medal was Max Nightingale who sizzled over the back nine with a two under par to give him a nett score of 66.
Kev Hanrahan played one of his best rounds to take out the B grade gold medal with a score of 65 nett while the C grade medal was won by Dean Stafford on 67 nett.

The January monthly medals was held in conjunction with Max Nightingale qualifying for next year’s gold medal play off by winning the A grade medal with his 66 nett.
Runner-up was the inform John Chadwick on 68 nett on a countback while the best scratch score was again recorded but Bill Oldfield with a three under 69.
The B grade medal saw a clear cut win to Greg Guest with 63 nett which was the best nett score of the day. Guest also had the best B grade scratch score with 75.
Runner-up was Kev Hanrahan on 65 nett.
The C grade monthly medal went to the fast improving Ken Mitchell with 68 nett.
Runner up was John Griffiths on 70 nett who also had the best scratch with 92.
Nearest the pin awards went to Bill Oldfield, Don Lovett, Gary Marshall, Rob Hawes and Dave Titcume.
The ball competition went out to those with 70 nett ocb and better.
This Saturday will see the staging of the Zig Zag Motel Summer Cup and the conclusion of the second round of the Centennial Coal Age Championships.
