“I have worked at a corner cafe in Portland for the past five months and some people came in who couldn’t afford food so I just made them food anyway,” Mr Bradley said.
This humble story is one of the many reasons he was chosen for the award.
According to John Kearns, Mr Bradley was chosen because of his ongoing work with the Fusion youth centre, the elderly and other organisations.
Mr Bradley has been helping with Fusion for five and a half years now, enjoying being able to help out community members where he can.
Fusion Australia Ltd is an international organisation which majors in working with community or school groups and their motto is to Bring the Youth and Their Community Together in Hope.

Mr Bradley grew up in Portland and attended Portland Central School where he said he loved being able to raise the flag for ANZAC Day, helping out with the Spring Fair and being able to do anything to lend a helping hand.
“I wasn’t expecting this award because there are a lot of people in this town who do a lot of good, so it’s an honour,” he said.
“I love this town and I want to do anything I can to help out.”
