As a woman was leaving Woolworths on Friday, January 18 she left her mobile phone in her shopping basket, after realising she had left it in there she went back to retrieve it and it appeared to have been stolen.

CCTV has shown the person who took it and police are now conducting an investigation.
Intoxicated
Police responded to an intoxicated man who was lying in the middle of the road on Railway Parade on Friday, January 18 at 8.30pm.
The man was then taken to Lithgow Hospital due to how intoxicated he was, Lithgow Police said.

Stolen tablet
A woman from a Sandford Avenue address left her home to get dinner and was gone for approximately 10 minutes before she returned and found her house broken into with a white Samsung tablet missing.
The incident occurred on Friday, January 18 and police were able to use a tracking app in the tablet to find its location.
An investigation is currently ongoing.
Tyres slashed
At 11.50pm on Friday, January 18 police were called to an address in Bowenfells where a man’s car tyres had been slashed.
The police spoke to the owner of the car who nominated some young offenders he believed responsible.
Police will now conduct an investigation.
Lithgow Police said if anyone has any information or witnessed any of the crimes to come forward.
