Zig Zag Public School held its annual Christmas carols at the Lithgow Greyhound track on Thursday, December 13.

The P&C run event had to be moved to the track after reports of storms rolling into Lithgow late Thursday afternoon.
“It’s our major fundraiser for the year and despite moving the event a lot of people have turned out so that’s fabulous,” principal Vicki Gilmore said.
The night included a chocolate wheel and all your favourite carols sung by Oakey Park's finest musicians.

There was a recorder performance of Jingle Bells done by the students of Zig Zag before they joined in singing ‘Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer’.
The P&C also put on a barbecue for families and a raffle.
