Students at The Scots School Lithgow Campus have had a very successful 2018, full of fun and learning. This campus is a special place where the whole school helps support learning and joins for fun events which enhance learning such as the Teddy Bears’ Picnic and Pirate and Princess Day. Highlights include the Easter Hat Parade, Harmony Day lunch, Featherdale Wildlife Park excursion, Book Week and Christmas Concert.
Pre-Kindergarten students are well prepared to start Kindergarten in 2019. Junior School students have worked hard all year, engaging in academic and co-curricular activities, outdoor learning and community events. Their efforts were recognised at the Junior School Assembly and Speech Day.
The installation of the bike track and PCYC Road Safety Day in June was a wonderful experience and we were excited to have State Member for Bathurst, Paul Toole MP officially open the new track (made possible through a Community Building Partnerships grant and the fundraising efforts of The Scots School Lithgow Parents’ and Friends’ Association).
