All nominated names will be considered by Council’s Community Development Committee before being decided at a meeting of Council in early 2019.
“The new adventure playground, due for completion in January, is an exciting and unique development for Lithgow,” Mayor Ray Thompson said.
“It is sure to offer our children and families a lot of excitement and many thrilling rides. Lithgow Council thinks that this playground is so special that it deserves its own name so we are calling on the community to suggest one.”
Send your suggestions to council by Wednesday, December 19 to council@lithgow.nsw.gov.au.
The person who nominates the winning name will receive a $500 Harvey Norman gift voucher.
In the event that more than one person nominates the winning name, the winner will be drawn from a hat.
