Premier Gladys Berejiklian presented the men with a Fire and Rescue NSW certificate of appreciation.
George ‘Herb’ Coleman was recognised for his 54 years of service to the Portland station followed by Ernie Jeffree for his 47 years of commitment to the community.
Fire and Rescue NSW recognised the dedication and commitment of the retained fire fighters who displayed and promoted FRNSW values throughout their careers.
Ms Berejiklian said it was a great achievement and she was honoured to present the awards.
