“This is all about men's violence against women and showing that we all support women in our community,” event organiser Lithgow Police Sergeant and Lithgow City Councillor Darryl Goodwin said.
He thanked everyone for coming out, keeping the formalities short due to the chill.
The gathering started at Queen Elizabeth Park at 4.30pm and walked up Main Street to the Workies, accompanied by the music of the Lithgow Highland Pipe Band. The walk was followed by a charity trivia night.
Look out for more on the event to be published next week.
