A Lithgow man will face multiple charges of larceny after allegedly stealing items from Lithgow Valley Plaza stores over several days.

Police were called to the plaza on Saturday, November 10 in relation to two men loitering at the plaza. A 31-year-old Lithgow man was searched by police at the scene and a number of items were uncovered, which it is alleged had been stolen from Blooms Chemist. He was also charged with being in possession of methylamphetamine.

The man was charged with another stealing offence on November 14. Police allege, when he saw a police patrol, he hid items of clothing which had been stolen from the Target store underneath a car parked outside.
Car stolen
A white Nissan Pathfinder was stolen from a Sandham Road property at Clarence on Sunday, November 11.
The back door of the home was forced open and the keys to the vehicle stolen while the occupants were away. If you have information about the vehicle (number plate AIS 55C), contact Lithgow Police or CrimeStoppers.
Attempted smuggling charge
A 26-year-old man has been charged with attempting to smuggle drugs into Lithgow Correctional Centre. It is alleged staff discovered he held a black balloon in his hand, which contained 65 buprenorphine strips, during a November 11 inmate visit.
Stealing
Police are looking for a man and woman (pictured above) they believe can assist them in relation to the theft of a necklace at Bianca Villa on November 10.
