In the first game Greg Tilley, Tiger Feltham, Greg Anderson and Jim McMahon took on Ian McMillan, Bruce Robinson, Des Francis and Dave Nunan.
Played in windy conditions it was McMahon who was fast away leading 8-1 after four ends.
Nunan fought back to lead 11-8 before the scores were level on 13 all.
McMahon trailed 17-18 with 2 ends left before picking up a three top lead 20-18.
Nunan picked up a single on the last with McMahon winning 20-19.
Semi-final two saw Craig Pugsley, Craig Brown, Peter Piggot and Graham Haley take on Steve Jackson, Mike McNamara, Pommie Williams and Peter Matchett.
Both teams were struggling to make a break and there never much in the scores.
After 20 ends it was 18 all with the game decided on the last end with Pugsley winning 19-18.
In the socials Jeff Howden and Curtis Brown were far too good for Ron Vidler and Darryl McSorley winning 30-18.
The Hard Rock Memorial mixed pairs closed on 5-11-2018 and the draw is up.
The sheets are on the board for Wallerwang versus Magellan challenge and for the Legacy Day on November 21.
Thursday Turnabout triples started this week and once again the weather has blessed us.
Games start at 5pm with names in by 4.30pm.
Everyone is welcome, bowlers and none bowlers we can put you inteams and supply coaching and bowls.
A feature of last week’s was the win by the No Expectations defeating the highly fancied Dragons side.
The Annual General Meeting was held on Sunday with the club shown to be in a strong position.
We still need some directors so you are asked to put your names up to help out.
