This weekend, the Elbourn clan will be coming together in Capertee for a weekend full of celebrations.
The family will come together at 3pm at the school at Capertee, where Elbourn family members attended from 1919 until 1980.
The group will visit key sites for the family, including the police station, where a family member served, and the Elbourn family tree.
That evening, the gathering will share dinner at the Capertee Hotel, sharing a ‘Show ‘n' Tell’ of photos and memorabilia.
During the weekend, the group will visit the Kangaroo Flat church and Sofala.
On Sunday, the family will join in the celebrations at Sunny Corner for the unveiling of a new history book and Remembrance Day commemorations. The family will lay a wreath.
