A boy reported as missing from the Blue Mountains has been found safe and well.
The 13-year-old boy was last seen at a home in Katoomba on Monday, October 22.
Blue Mountains Police District commenced an extensive search of the area.
Family members contacted authorities on Friday afternoon, October 26, to advise the boy had returned home safe and well.
Police would like to thank everyone for their assistance.

The search continues for a teenage boy who was reported missing from the Blue Mountains earlier this week.
Atreyu Davis, aged 13, was last seen by his family at a home in Katoomba on Monday, October 22.
Officers from the Blue Mountains Police District have been searching from Atreyu and have serious concerns for his welfare.
Police believed he may have been travelling and busking with his 15-year-old friend; however, that boy has been located safe and well.
Atreyu is known to frequent the Sydney CBD, along with the inner-western suburbs of Newtown, Dulwich Hill and Summer Hill.

Atreyu is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 168cm tall, with a slim build, fair complexion, and short dark brown hair.
He was last seen wearing baggy blue or black jeans, a maroon hoodie with ‘Hard Rock Cafe’ on the front, and black and white ‘VANs’ sneakers.
Anyone who sees him, or believe they know his whereabouts, is urged to contact local police immediately.
