Ten years after becoming a real estate agent and four years after becoming a partner in the agency alongside Graham Hodson, Christine is going it alone.
The business partners have had an exit strategy in place since May this year to allow Graham to take up a new opportunity outside residential real estate sales and transition smoothly to a new company structure.
Christine cut her teeth in real estate in Sydney’s northern suburbs, achieving market dominance in her area with McGrath Neutral Bay.
Returning to Lithgow allowed her to be closer to family and gave her an opportunity to put into practice the marketing and negotiation skills she’d acquired in one of Sydney’s toughest real estate markets.
Now she’s looking forward to a new chapter, continuing the legacy of her business partner and putting her own imprint on the business.
“It is extremely exciting and a great opportunity,” said Christine.
“This business was our baby and while it is sad to see Graham go, I am looking forward to it.
“We’ve been a great team for several years but I’m an independent person and I intend to grab the opportunity and run with it, delivering a great service to our clients and being active participants in the local community.”
Graham will remain living locally but will be working in Bathurst as a commercial agent in real estate.
“I’m leaving the business knowing it is in capable hands,” Graham said.
Graham attended his last open house on Saturday, September 22.
“I have a great sense of pride reflecting on the growth and achievements of the past four and a half years,” he said.
“Credit for our success must be shared with our brilliant staff and importantly the clients who’ve shown their faith and trust.”

Christine has been at Graham’s side since the R&W Lithgow agency was formed in 2014, playing an equal role in building it from one man and a desk to become a leader in its field.
“I believe we have always done business the right way, representing our vendors honestly and maximising price for them without disadvantaging buyers,” said Graham.
“We have transacted hundreds of property sales and built a substantial property management business and under Christine’s management I see the agency continuing to thrive and play an important role in our community.”
