The Tarana community farmers markets will be held on Sunday, September 23 at the Fire Shed in Tarana from 10am to 2pm.

The guest presenter for September is the Rural Fire Service (RFS) which will host their Get Ready Weekend, including information on how to protect your home and property for the upcoming fire season.
Stall holders will have a range of locally produced items including beef, lamb and duck, fruit and vegetables, bread and honey, jams and preserves, port and wine, olive oil, garden plants, chocolate and sweets.
There will be bacon and egg rolls, made with free range eggs, from the Bush Fire Brigade barbecue and freshly brewed coffee available all day.
There will be live music from The Tarana Tigers who will be performing and there will be shady umbrellas to sit under while enjoying the atmosphere of a country market.
The market committee will be donating the proceeds of the day to the drought appeal.
