Lithgow Workies juniors and senior Lazers held there presentation night in the Millennium Room at the Lithgow and District Workmen’s Club on Friday, August 10.

Around 150 players, coaches, managers, parents and supporters were in attendance.
They were welcomed by Chair of Directors Richard Marjoram who spoke on behalf of the board of directors about how proud the association was of all junior and senior players during the representative season.
They also took time to thank their sponsors for the year.
Richard then welcomed Lithgow Basketball Development Officer, Adam Marjoram, who thanked all players for their commitment, their sportsman-ship and the skills they showed during the season. He also thanked each teams coach:
- Under 12 Girls: Shane Lee
- Under 14 Girls: David Lincoln
- Under 12 Boys: Scott Simcoe
- Under 14 Boys: Terrence Durham, Suzy Morris and Adam Marjoram
- Under 16 Boys: Heidi Inwood
- Under 18 Boys: Matt Hill and Rob Morrow
- Senior men: Richard Marjoram
Adam also congratulated those who were successful in making other teams during the year and thanked the managers and parents who committed to traveling with their children.
Terrence Durham presented the Peter Pender Fundamentals Awards:
- Under 12 Girls: Isabelle Jones
- Under 14 Girls: Emily Prentice
- Under 12 Boys: Logan Hill
- Under 14 Boys: Riley Hart
- Under 16 Boys: Blake Goldspink
- Under 18 Boys: Kory Pringle
Lithgow under 12 girls were presented with their runners up medals from the Country Championships by Richard Marjoram.
Coaches then got up and spoke about their teams and presented their individual awards:
- U/12 Girls- MVP: Zahra Roberts, Most Improved: Aleese Thompson, Best Defence: Chloe Goodman and Hustler Award: Abby Reid.
- U/14 Girls- MVP: Ella Houlison and Most Improved: Camryn Jones.
- U/12 Boys- MVP: Shared Archie Morris, Jai McMillan and Jai Simcoe, Most Improved: Logan Hill.
- U/14 Boys-Players Player: Eli Morris and Hustler Award: Hutch Evans.
- U/16 Boys- Coach's Award: Blake Goldspink, Players Player: Zeke Evans and Kade Inwood.
- U/18 Boys- Coach's Award: Ethan Pringle and Ethan Hill, Players Player: Ryan Bird.
All players, coaches, managers and senior bench officials received long sleeve t-shirts with the Lazers Logo.
More awards were then handed out:
Rae Swift Recognition Award went to Michelle Thompson.
Jill and Richard Marjoram Award was presented to Camryn Jones for being a player and being committed to refereeing at both local and representative level.
The new award Ian Pilley Award sponsored by Heidi Inwood went to junior girl MacKenzie Crowe.

A presentation was also made to Sonya Cox and Rae Swift for helping out on senior home game nights.
The senior coach’s award went to Jaidyn Goodwin as he was wished best of luck on going to America to fulfil one of his dreams.
Terrence Durham was also thanked for his commitment to playing with the Lazers and developing the local juniors.
Lazers coach Richard Marjoram said the Lithgow Lazers knew that they were developing well and were getting stronger every time they take the court and couldn’t wait to compete in 2019.
