It was a huge day of league at Tony Luchetti Oval on Saturday, July 21, as the Lithgow Workies hosted a four games from 10.30am.

The league tag team started the day with a loss to the Hawks. The Workies team was extremely unlucky to go down 18-12 to the Orange side.
There was great success in the Under 18’s and first division.
The Under 18’s had a come-from-behind win, taking the Hawks 40-30.
Trailing 30-18 at half time, the Workies had a huge second half, denying the Hawks any more points on the Lithgow ground.
First division was in control in its encounter with the Hawks, leading 16-4 at half time.
The second half was all Workies, with the Lithgow team charging through the Hawks’ defence to take the final score to 40-8.
The battle was not so easy for the premier league Wolves. They kept in touch in the first half, but went down to the Hawks 38-26.
