On Wednesday, July 18, the BOM forecast snow for Friday down to 1000m.
It is predicted to be cloudy, with a 50 per cent chance of showers, most likely in the morning. Daytime temperatures are expected the reach between 7 and 13, while overnight temperatures should not fall below 2. The usual snow spots around Oberon, Shooters Hill and Jenolan Caves are expected to get falls.
Snow predictions have been extended to include snow for Orange’s township, Millthorpe, Blayney and Crookwell, as well as heavier snow predicted for the NSW and Victorian snowfields.
