The junior team played with enormous effort and enthusiasm and went on to win two out of three games.
It was a real team effort and they were unlucky not to make the semi-finals.
The senior team displayed fantastic ball movement and tackling dedication, working extremely hard for one another.
With no reserves, they used every ounce of their energy to not just compete but excel in adversity after losing their state representative player Angus Clues before the finals day.
The senior team drew their first game, won convincingly the second, and were beaten on the buzzer 8-4 in the third.
Special mention to team captain Tully Howell who was selected as one of the top eight players of the day.
Lithgow Public is extremely proud of these teams for their commitment.
