The Grizzlies are the champions of the Lithgow Basketball Association Men’s winter competition following a hard fought victory over Cavs in the grand final.

Grizzlies took the long way around, coming from third place to claim the title.
They defeated fourth-placed Celtics 112–57 in the minor semi-final before scrapping past Bulls 62–57 in the final.
Cavs, who finished the regular season in equal first place with Bulls, won through by defeating them in the major semi, 83–67.
Grizzlies stole the jump on Cavs and raced to an 8-0 lead before Cavs (Ryan Bird, Michael Cox, Caleb Fitzpatrick, Mitchell Gurney, Kurt Northey) started to find their range to trail by five, 18-13, after the first quarter.
The teams went basket for basket in the second period with both scoring twenty-four points to see the halftime score read 42-37 to Grizzlies.
Cavs made a bit of a run in the third stanza and took it 22-20 to make it anyone’s match going into the last quarter with Grizzlies up by three, 62-59.
Cavs hit the lead in the early stages but Grizzlies, comprising Hayden Cox, Terrence Durham, Lleyton Guest, Eric Joyce, Austyn Lincoln and Fletcher Swift, stiffened their defence and pulled away to take the honours, 88-79.
