The Strategic Planning Award went to Moore Park 2040, Botanic Gardens and Centennial Parklands but Gondwana Consulting and Lithgow City Council were commended for the Farmers Creek Precinct Masterplan.
Lithgow City Council noted at its meeting on Monday, May 28, that the two projects were scored equally for the award, with an independent assessor called in to split the decision.
As a result, the Lithgow project was the only one that received a ‘High Commendation’ on the night.
The awards covered a range of excellence areas, from research to community facility of the year and major event of the year.
