The purpose of the plan is to get everyone to work together to protect the environment, community and economy from the negative impacts of pest animals.
Central Tablelands Local Land Services Manager of Biosecurity and Emergency Services Clare Hamilton said the plan sets the strategic direction for pest animal management for the next five years.
“It’s imperative everyone has their say during this consultation period as it will help guide resourcing and investment dedicated to coordinated pest animal management in the coming years,” she said.
“It’s been fantastic to see landholders supplying feedback over the last month, so I urge anyone left to submit theirs to do so by the end of the week.”
The draft plan has been developed collaboratively with the Central Tablelands Regional Pest Animal Committee and Central Tablelands Local Land Services.
