Disqualified driver
A 21-year-old woman was charged with driving while disqualified after being stopped on the Great Western Highway.

Police pulled the woman over for a random breath test while she was driving on the road in Hartley on Wednesday, February 28, at 2.40pm.
When asked to show her licence she replied to police that she didn’t have one. After performing checks police found that she was a disqualified driver.
The woman will appear at Lithgow Local Court at a future date.
Rugs stolen
Two rugs have been stolen off a fence in Portland, after a resident left the rugs out to dry on Wednesday, February 28.
The resident left the rugs on their fence in Ridge Street. The next day they were gone.
Police are investigating the incident.
Attempted break in
The ground floor window of a house in Portland was smashed sometime between 2.30pm on Thursday, March 1 and 2.40am on Friday, March 2.
Police believe the incident on Cox Street was an attempted break-in, however, there was no entry and nothing was taken from the house.
Police are investigating.
