On court Kelpies and Dalmatians did battle with every player striving to get the winning shot.
Slowly but surely Dalmatians answered the challenge winning each set by one game until a convincing last set victory secured their 34-20 triumph.
Poodles and Pit Bulls enjoyed another match with players giving it their all. Pitt Bulls’ Susan Johns and Rosemary Rust tried to break the opposition with their cross court returns and consistent ball placement.
However, Leanne Morgan’s strong serves and returns and Kristy Burgess’ good running for court coverage enabled Poodles to gain a good lead, winning 37-17. Wendy Tilley filled in.
Next week: Kelpies V Pitt Bulls, Rottweilers V Dalmatians. Bye Poodles. Cake duty Kelpies.
