One main concern residents had was whether the statue of Marjorie Jackson, which was not seen in the impression, was going to come back.
“Marjorie is a definite, she will be back, no need to worry about that,” Cr Lesslie said.
When the first artist impression was released for public viewing residents had their say on the impression which Mayor Lesslie said was taken into account before the impression changed.
“When you ask for comments and then take comments into account, things change,” he said.
“If you don’t take public opinion into account then why ask for it?”

Another point that has been brought up by residents is the time it is taking to finish the revitalisation.
“I think it’s disappointing it’s taking so long,” Cr Lesslie said.
The pavers, which have caused havoc around town for residents since they were first laid were also a sore spot for the Mayor.
“It’s disappointing the pavers weren’t done properly at the time,” he said.
Mayor Lesslie said it was extremely disappointing that the Federal government did not agree to council’s request to change the grant details to fix the pavers.
“We were told in no uncertain terms that we had a choice of taking the grant and putting in our own funding or rejecting it entirely, but if we reject the grant we would be likely to not get any public grant in the future,” he said.
This then put them in a position where they had no choice but to take the grant.
“We hope when we put in a future grant to fix the pavers it will be forth coming,” he said.
