Topping the bumper program is the sedan car driver 20/20 and the car destroying demolition derby sponsored by Wallerawang Landscaping and Construction.
Rules for the 20/20 are simple with one driver completing a 20 lap race with a second driver getting behind the wheel of the same car for another 20 lap clash.
However, the rules of the demolition derby, which by the way features a lady driver, is just a reversing biff, bash and crash, with the winner being the last car car still running.
The open wheeler program features the super fast Microsprints and the Speedway Karts.
Get your backside trackside for almost five hours of speedway excitement, with more than 50 events for the tin top stock cars and those very fast open wheelers.
The stock car stars will be contesting the third round of the Portland club championship over three heats and a feature race – the sensational Street Stockers, Series Production class, Four Cylinders plus the new ‘all stars’ (14-16 years) and ‘new stars’ (10-13 years) junior classes all racing for their yearly point score.
Driving stars from Sydney, the Blue Mountains, Mudgee, Bathurst, Orange, Canberra, Blayney, Oberon, Dubbo, Gilgandra and Nowra will battle it out wheel to wheel on the oval track and you won't miss one second of the action – come on out and cheer your favorite driver to the chequered flag.
Sponsors proudly supporting the Cullen Bullen Raceway include Sita Environmental Solutions, McFadden Ice Supplies of Bathurst, Phil and Marg Downey's Portland Newsagency, the Royal Hotel Cullen Bullen, Stone’s Pest and Weed Control, Coates Hire Wallerawang, Portland Automotive Services, Centennial Coal, Lithgow City Council, Tony Scott Plant Hire, Portland RSL Sports and Recreation Club, Wallerawang Landscaping and Construction, Kings Auto Parts and JR Conveyors.
