The night marked the 10th anniversary of the funeral of her husband, Bob. She joined the effort to raise funds for Cancer Council NSW with dance school Lithgow Academy of Dance. Her campaign had far and away the highest fundraising total.

Dance schools and their amateur partners had trained for weeks in the lead-up to Saturday night’s inaugural Stars of Lithgow Dance for Cancer, which raised funds for Cancer Council NSW.
Aiming to raise $30,000, organisers were blown away by the total, which had reached $41,900 on the night. It was a combination of fundraising by the Stars in the lead-up to the event and donations on the night.
Special awards went to Cass Coleman as People's Choice (with 560 votes on the night). Rob Tesoriero and Renae Dunleavy claimed joint highest point score and Graham Hodson was judges' choice.
