The Pender’s Ian and Kevin teamed up against last year’s winners Des Francis, Bruce Robinson and (sub) Tiger Feltham with a close game resulting. Pender led team won 19-18.
Former winners Steve Jackson, Dave Nunan and Mike McNamara began their title hunt with a very good 27-12 victory over Jeff Howden. The other two games have been weather affected but will be played before the next round is due.
In socials, Lindsey Nunan and Tiger Feltham went down 22-21 to Peter Piggott, Curtis Brown and Craig Brown. Bob Ray, Kim Alexander and Mcmillan had for too many guns for Kevin Pender, Craig Pugsley and Des Francis winning 31-15.
