All the major crime categories remained stable in the 12-month period from July 2016 to June 2017 when compared to the previous 12 months.
Several offences also showed noticeable drops in the number of incidents including break and enters to dwellings from 141 in the 12 months to June 2016 down to 132.
Break and enter to non-dwellings also fell from 87 to 69 as well as incidents of steal from a retail store, 61 to 38.
The Bathurst region also experienced several encouraging crime figures with all major categories falling.
Welcoming the results, acting superintendent Luke Rankin said officers across the command were working diligently for the community they serve and the results reflected their hard work.
One area however, which remains a thorn in the side of Bathurst police is fraud, with 274 incidents recorded, up from 216 the year before. In contrast, cases of fraud in Lithgow decreased from 139 to 117.
