Draw August 15: At Club Lithgow Miscues versus Pockets. At the Workies Helmets versus Red Sox and Tall Timbers versus Jiggers. Pockets must still be hungover from winning the previous comp, for the third week running they have been beaten 5–2. This week it was Tall Timbers that inflicted the loss. Helmets maintain their unbeaten run when they beat Miscues 5–2 and Jiggers also beat Red Sox by the same amount 5–2 as the competition heats up.

Carpet One Tall Timbers versus Williams and Sons Butchers Pockets: Frank Wawn versus Michael Wellings. Wellings hit the floor running winnng 83–29. Bill Cook played Jack Bilby. Cook won 72–36. Michael McCosker against Brett Holt. McCosker won 70-37. Maurie Smith versus Shane Eagle. Smith did play some good shots but Eagle won 71–33. Leon Rust played Trystan Ford. Rust was only just able to scrape in 34–33. Aaron Vandermeer against Dan Hart. Vandermeer scored an 18 break on his way to a 77–22 victory. Players of the match: Leon Rust and Michael Wellings.
Lithgow Valley Storage Helmets versus Hunter Mining Methods Miscues: Brett Bradley played Ritchie Bilby. Both played very well but Bilby prevailed 48-36. Ian Bulkeley against Brian Bonus. Bulkeley won 53–26. Tom Drury versus Col Tattersall. Drury showed some good form to finally take the lead to outlast Tattersall 67–50. Logan Spice played Brian Nightingale. Nightingale won 64–50. Robert Farnsworth against Matt Tattersall. The lead changing several times. Farnsworth won 53–51. Dianne Stait versus Allan Piggott. Stait won 49–46. Players of the match: Ian Bulkeley and Brian Nightingale.
Welch’s Highway Smash Repairs Jiggers versus C & W Printing Red Sux: Trent Lewis played Garry Nolan. Lewis cruised in to win 77–43. Kyal Furbank versus Shannon Baer. Furbank won 99–34. Troy Clarke against Tom Gaynor. Gaynor did move in front on the pink but Clarke potted the black to win by a mere point 67–66. Greg Sutton versus Peter Warner. Sutton came good late in the match but it was all too late as Warner easily won 83–64. Justin Nelson versus Leo Keeley. Nelson won 61–56. David Adams played Trevor Cameron. Cameron was just too dominating, winning 83–40. Players of the match: Kyal Furbank and Trevor Cameron.
