Making their way from the Girl Guide Hall toward the Lithgow Pool, they collected more rubbish along that strip than they had collected for a number of years.
The Guides were all smiles when arriving back at their hall reflecting upon a job well done.
Afterwards, the girls treated themselves by making ice cream in a plastic bag.
This was a scientific way of making the delicious treat which included milk, sugar, flavouring in a small sandwich bag.
They then placed this bag into a larger bag with ice and rock salt. They shook the large bag vigorously and presto, ice cream. Yum.
