Lithgow Swimming Club members won 23 medals and received high praise for their organisation of the event.
Nearly 300 swimmers from 15 clubs covering Forbes, Parkes, Katoomba, Orange and Bathurst attended with almost 2000 entries across the two-day carnival.
The team from Orange’s Kinross Wolaroi School was named champion club.
However, Lithgow’s 31 swimmers, who competed across most age divisions, registered some sensational personal results during the weekend.
Lithgow’s Brodie McManus was named 16-year-old boys champion, with nine gold medals and one bronze.
McKenzie Stewart won four gold medals and set three championship records. Mia Dunleavy won three silver medals and one bronze.
Dunleavy was also part of the girls’ 10-years and under relay team with Tayah Crook, Maggie Thompson and Emily Dean, when they won bronze in the 4x50 metre freestyle.
Kyan Campbell won a bronze medal in the eight-years 50m backstroke, while Amy Kennedy won a gold medal in the nine-years and under 25m butterfly.
Tyler McManus won bronze in the 50m breastroke and 100m freestyle.
