The mass was held at St Patricks Catholic Church with many student's families present to witness their children’s student achievements.
The presentation of school and house captains was a proud moment for parents.
Following tradition the parents put the new captain badges on the children in front of the school and guests.
School captains
School captains for 2017 are Ebony Brown and Dalton Neville.
House captains
House captains are as follows:
Benildus- Abbey Wilson and Dean McMahon.
Mackillop- Mikaela Inzitari and Conner Sheil.
Solomon- Rhiannon Mills and Joss Luka.
Tenison- Olivia Thurtell and Jordan Fordham.

PEER LEADERS
La Salle Academy’s peer support program that runs in the first six months of the year elected its new peer leaders for 2017.
The new leaders in alphabetical order are: Elly Baxter, Holly Beecroft, Hayley Bennett, Cassidy Buck, Kenya Burke, Ethan Corney, Jae Daly, Leah Edward, Caitlin Graham, Callum Jenkins, Elli Kozicki, Chelsea Marshall, Sophie Quince, Ebony Shepherd, Tanvir Singh, Bailee Staines, Haydon Taylor and Grace Thompson.
Farewells
La Salle Academy farewelled their 2016 Year 12 students at the mass with the school wishing them every success in the wider world.
Many have already been accepted into university.
There are also students from the 2016 Year 10 and 11 who have gained apprenticeships.
