A promising start of 0/46 for Lithgow Hotel 2 ‘Housos’ was destroyed in five overs as Lithgow Hotel 1’s bowler Kevin Corner tore through the Housos batsmen and ended with 8/8. Horner’s haul included an incredible 3 stumpings and a missed opportunity for a hat trick.

Lithgow Hotel 2 ended up all out for 64 with C Porter its best scoring 34 runs.
Steven Cronin (36no) and Darren King (17no) were not troubled on their way past the Lithgow Hotel score.
Hampton v La Salle
Hampton went into bat first and would of had their sights set on a win after Matt Gerrard (109) worked his way to a ton in Hampton’s total of 184.
Todd Walsh (4/17 off 8 overs) came from behind the wicket and sent down a few overs to get rid of Gerrard and finish off Hampton’s innings.
The Hornets got a good start with opener Mick Wren (59) getting a half century before Todd Walsh came in again to finish things off with a rapid fire 80.
Portland 1 v Portland 2
Portland 1 (4/270) never looked in doubt in the local match up with Portland 2. The Portland 1 top three all made runs in the first innings with Sam Cameron blasting a healthy 90 including three sixes, Issac Fardell 76 and Brady McCann 46. Portland 2’s bowlers struggled with Jarre Ryan (2/53) their best.
Portland 2 got off to good start as openers C Mccann (46) and Simon Dunleavy (23) got them to 0/46. It didn’t last despite Jarre Ryan capping off a good all round game with 40 in the tailend. Joel Cameron did the damage for Portland 1 with 5/36.
Valley v Lidsdale
Valley stopped and started on the way to a total of 7/132. Lou Kappos (41no) anchored the innings with Jono Reid adding 36 at the end.
Lidsdale’s bowlers shared the wickets around with Barry Jackson (2/30) and Nick Bender (2/31) getting the best figures.
Lidsdale looked like it was too big of a total for them to get past until Nick Bender (60) came in with Mitch Thompson (27no) at 7/49 and put some runs on the board. Matt Williams for Valley ended up with 3/22.
