Lithgow Hotel 2’s reply had plenty of promise with some good starts Jason Murray (46) and Sam Weeks (31) top scoring but they couldn’t stop the wickets falling. Dave Heartly did the damage with 4/41.

Hampton V La Salle

A couple of half centuries including the highest score of the round for either grade put the Hornets (201) in a commanding position after the first innings.

Brad Kay (51no) was steady out in the middle for Hampton but didn’t find anyone to stay around except Rick Hooligan (40).
