COOERWULL Public School students Ashton Hunter, Tallan Egan and Lachlan Thompson have been named in the Western Primary Schools Sports Association (PSSA) Softball side.

The selection means the talented trio will compete in the State Championships in Wagga later in the school term.
All three boys impressed selectors during three games played for Cooerwull in Orange recently, as well as at a later selection trial.
Featuring in all the prominent positions, Tallan, Ashton and Lachlan have proven they can easily rotate through pitcher, catcher, short stop and bases.
Ashton is renowned for his big hitting and big accurate arm in the outfield.
Lachlan and Tallan both have an excellent eye for placement.
All three are exceptional base runners and versatile and strategic players of the game and are sure to be key members of the Western Side.
The trio are proudly looking forward representing their school and gaining some big game experience at the State Championships.
