Big wins in both Zone Singles and Pairs at finals held in Bathurst will see some of Lithgow’s finest bowlers represent the city at State Championships to be held in Tuncurry later this year.
Zone Singles
First Lithgow City had one of their ladies playing in the Zone Single Final with Fay King defeating her opponent from Austral to qualify for the State Championships in Tuncurry later this year.
City Club would like to congratulate Fay on her win and wish her all the best in coming games at State Championships.
Zone Pairs
There is more good news for Lithgow City as they also had Pam Johnson and Carolyn Lord playing in the Zone Pairs at Bathurst City.
They came away with a win, earning their way to qualifying for State Championships also to be held at Tuncurry.
The club would like to congratulate Pam, Carolyn and Fay and wish them all the best in their games at State Championships.
The club only has a few weeks left of the winter break.
They’ll be back in full swing soon as it will be a very busy time ahead with some major events coming up at the bowling club.
