They now sit in equal third position behind Lithgow Panthers and Bathurst St Patricks.
Although they had a couple of key players missing in their last match they scored a massive 12-2 win over Dubbo.
It took a while to get rolling, but once the first goal was scored midway through the first half, the dam broke and it was a goal avalanche.
Goals were coming at regular intervals with Daniel Sheppeard, Mitch Williams (although manager Brian Kelly said that he should have had the goal taken off him because of his ‘out there’ haircut), Taylor Tattersall and Eli Shirt scoring to make the half time score 6-nil.
Dubbo’s bright note in the match was when they scored two goals in the second half by Jack Ecford and Stuart McKenzie — but unfortunately, they could not stop the stem of Zig Zag goals.
Second half goals went to Michael Gant, Eli Shirt and two to Luke Sheppeard and Campbell Ferguson.
There were no bad players for Zig Zag who were too quick and skilful for their opposition with the Players’ Player points going to Eli Shirt (3), Luke Sheppeard (2) and Campbell Fergusson (1).
Ziggies match against Parkes United tomorrow starts at 1.30pm
