The endeavour has resulted in the planting of a range of vegetables including capsicum, lettuce, strawberries, radish, carrot, beans and spring onions.
The students will tend the gardens regularly and once the vegetables are fully grown they will use them in cooking classes.
The plants are currently growing well and the students are eager to look after their gardens, showing a lot of care for their chosen patches.
The garden projects have been a valuable teaching tool for the young students who are learning about the importance of healthy eating and natural produce.
At present students have successfully raised strawberry and radish seeds to full maturity and are excitedly finding flowers throughout their soon to be flourishing gardens.
