The latest major event was the popular Higgins Day with teams from all around the district attending.
The weather was cool and overcast with occasional patches of sunshine, far better than anticipated.
President Marg Gibbons welcomed everyone after morning tea prepared by the busy social committee, then cards were called and 18 ends of triples filling two greens were played.
Lunch prepared by Kah Wah Restaurant awaited in the brightly decorated dining room.
The Higgins family representative Klaus Fegebank was introduced and after addressing the crowd, he was asked to present the trophies.
The trophies went to Lawson who took out first place, Hazelbrook second, Lithgow City third and Majellan fourth.
Raffle and lucky plate prizes were then distributed.
Mrs Gibbons thanked all who had helped on the day with gifts etc, also the greenkeeper, bar staff and Lee who delighted with her usual jokes.
